Eisha dance (Okinawan traditional dance)

Eisha dance originally comes from Okinawa, it is done by dancing together for many peoples at the same time, there are two kinds of dancer one using drum while dancing and other dancing (usually it is done by woman dancer). But there is funny character and it is been role by two or three people with funny make up, their job is to make the dancer keep on fire and help if something happen, for example when the dancer's stick broke, they will change it very spry so the performance still going well without too much trouble. Actually in this dance, we are taught how to be a good team work.

I took these pictures at "Ryudai Matsuri" on September 28th-29th 2013. Hope you enjoy guys!

Word of the day!!! 米寿 (Beiju) Party

Hisashiburi (long time no see).....
Today, I would like to share interesting Japanese term. That is Beiju, beiju has been familiar as Japanese 88th  birthday party. Beiju comes from Japanese language "bei" and "ju", actually bei in kanji 米 which is has same characteristic with 8 + 8 in kanji 八 + 八. See the kanji's character, if we merge it will be 米 (called bei), bei it self has meaning rice and ju has kanji's character as 寿 which has meaning celebration. So, the final meaning of Beiju is rice celebration, then the celebration identically with rice. Let me explain, the 88th birthday, she/he will give less rice to all people who come to celebrate, it has mean that some one who celebrating Beiju party are wishing to god to give the long life to the guests.
yup, that's all I can share to you guys....
Have a great day a head :D

In the name of shuriekanzasi.blogspot.com

Finally, I decided to change my blog address, from sikecilceria.blogspot.com to shuriekanzasi.blogspot.com. I had been thinking the best name for my blog, and there were two choices, another is "kanzasiyakuza.blogspot.com.

Well, let me explain guys.
1. Why did I change my address? this is not about like or dislike, but I just want to make a historical meaning on my blog, I want everything has their own philosophy, even less meaning.
2. Why did I choose "Kanzasi"? well, kanzasi is Japanese word which has meaning "hair accessory" usually used by Japanese ladies when they have party or formal moment, they are wearing kanzasi. So, kanzasi is very important for Japanese women because not only to make more beautiful but also kanzasi make them more adorable and confidence. My philosophy is I would like to make this blog very wort it, and very useful for me, even for all people who wanted another information from this blog. Actually I made this blog not only for my self but at least I just prepare some scripts and read it when I had been old. hehehheheheh
3. Why did I choose "shurie" ? it comes from shuri-jo (shuri castle), a famous castle in Okinawa, Shuri castle was used by King Sho-hashi. He established the Ryukyu Kingdom and at the same time Shuri flourished as the capital. I was very interested with Shuri from the first sight, it was amazing for me, nice castle and I would like to make this blog as my kingdom and I will take very good care on it, hope you enjoy to visit my Kingdom hehehhe

Please welcome.....

Wish word of the day

Well, I would like to share a bit about Japanese behavior. Do you know guys, that Japanese are very good at health keeper, they always measure the calorie every single food they eat, sugarless, using less salt in cooking, not spicy, no fried foods, and they prefer to eat nothing but boiled. Actually, they do this because they've got to be care with their body now and day after young, keep healthy. Salute to them, for me I like friend foods so that much, hehehe and actually, some oil containing unsaturated fatty acid and after used once, we should change with new one, because unsaturated fatty acid had been oxidized became saturated fatty acid during heated, and from saturated fatty acid could form a radical species after heating for several used.

Radical species are very danger for our body, it creates many degenerative illness, such as stroke, cancer, and even Parkinson syndrome. So, no reason for us to take unhealthy foods. what we give around, will come back to us.

As we know, some people prefer to use coconut oil, I am sorry to say, but actually coconut oil is not good for our body, because the major fatty acid that contained is lauric acid. Lauric acid consists of 12 carbon atom, and have no double bond, it's meant that lauric acid is saturated fatty acid, and it could be your body's enemy. So, please give more attention on your diary foods to give the best care on your health.

Have a great day a head....
